Island Hopping Raja Ampat Incl. Piaynemo

Upon arrival in Sorong our guide will welcome you at the airport. Followed by a transfer to Sorong Harbour to board the fast ferry (approx 2 hours) to Waisai the capital city of Raja Ampat on Waigeo Island.

From Waisai continue by boat transfer to your homestay on Mansuar Island. Featuring an overwater bungalow where where marine life gathers below your feet, offering unforgettable snorkeling and a peaceful Raja Ampat escape. Welcome to paradise.

After breakfast it is time to board your private speedboat to Piaynemo. It will take around 2 hours. Piaynemo is a stunning destination in Raja Ampat, Indonesia. Here are some of the highlights that we can visit today:

1. The Hidden Bay Viewpoint: The main attraction in Piaynemo is the breath-taking viewpoint known as "The Hidden Bay." After climbing a set of stairs, you'll be rewarded with a panoramic view of the iconic karst islands and crystal-clear turquoise waters of Raja Ampat. It's a perfect spot for photography and taking in the natural beauty of the area.
2. Star Lagoon: Telaga Bintang, also often referred to as the Star Lagoon, lives up to its name as it has a star-shaped form with five corners. Surrounding it are hills made of karst limestone, along with the view of the lagoon's turquoise green water. The scenery at this lagoon is truly something not to be missed. To enjoy the beauty of this lagoon, you will have to climb up the rocky hills.
3. Snorkelling: The waters around Piaynemo are teeming with marine life and vibrant coral reefs. Snorkelling in this area will give you the opportunity to see a wide variety of tropical fish, colourful corals, and other fascinating underwater creatures. We will visit Rufas Lagoon, a fabulous tiny island hideaway with a private beach in front of Paiynemo.

In the late afternoon you will be back in your homestay.

Today we will visit Arborek Village. Arborek is home to a small and friendly local community. Interact with the locals and learn about their way of life and traditional custom

Here are some highlights for today:

1. Snorkelling: Arborek Island is surrounded by some of the most beautiful coral reefs in Raja Ampat. Snorkelling in the waters around the island allows you to explore the diverse marine life, including colourful coral formations, tropical fish.
2. Photography: Arborek offers plenty of opportunities for photography enthusiasts. Capture the beautiful landscapes, vibrant marine life, and the unique culture of the local community.
3. Manta Point: We will continue to Manta Point to see if there are mantas. From October – April you have the chance to see manta’s feeding plankton here and sliding through the water like dancers of the oceans.
4. In Yenbuba we have excellent snorkelling opportunities at the jetty. You can also visit the village and stroll alongside the sandy paths passing neat villages

In the late afternoon you will be back in your homestay.

We will visit the neat and nice local village of Sauwandarek where we can see the life of the local people in Raja Ampat who are all committed in preserving the natural beauty of Raja Ampat. The shallow reefs at the jetty of Sauwandarek brings hundreds of colourful fish making this site loved by divers and snorkellers. We will also make a stop at Pasir Timbul, a sand bank in front of Kri Island where we can swim in the low waters of the crystal blue ocean.

In the afternoon you have time to relax and unwind at the homestay and enjoy its peaceful surrounding.

You will be dropped off in Waisai. You can extend your stay in Raja Ampat, we are happy to organise this.   (End of Service)
