We will tour vibrant Sentani and its lake, which is considered the home of the rainbows by local people. First, we will stop at the Abepura Museum, which has a delicate and exciting collection of art from all over Papua. Then, we will continue the small Asei Island in Lake Sentani using a local boat. There, we will experience the traditional lifestyle of the Sentani fishermen tribes and see the unique bark paintings and typical local art on the island. You can have lunch at one of the local restaurants at the lakes. After lunch, we will continue to visit a local market and end at Bukit Teletubies, or Teletubies Hill. It is a short climb uphill from where you can walk along the ridge of the hill to see green oases, lake views, and Teletubbies-like hills surrounding you. It's a perfect place to end the day.
Note: Foreign visitors can no longer visit the Mac Arthur Monument.
